Insurance & Financing

As a private practice, we're not contracted with insurance companies. This allows Dr. Zeitlin to make recommendations based solely on your needs, without referral requirements, insurance restrictions, or limitations on the time spent with you.

That said, your insurance can still help. We submit claims on your behalf, and any reimbursement is sent directly to you. Many patients with PPO plans recover a portion of their costs, and our team is happy to help you understand the process.

Working with your insurance

We submit claims to your insurance on your behalf. Any reimbursement is sent directly to you. Coverage varies by plan, but here is what you can typically expect:

  • PPO plans often cover a portion of out-of-network specialist visits
  • Most diagnostic testing — lab work and imaging — is performed at in-network facilities, which can significantly reduce your out-of-pocket costs
  • HMO plans generally do not cover out-of-network providers

If you’re unsure whether your plan includes out-of-network benefits, our office can help you understand what questions to ask your insurer before your first visit.

If you or your employer offers fertility benefits through a third-party program such as Carrot Fertility or Maven Clinic, you may be eligible for reimbursement of your out-of-pocket fertility expenses.

Our team is happy to help you understand how to maximize your benefits and determine which services may be eligible for reimbursement. We encourage you to contact our office before your appointment so we can review your coverage, explain any eligibility requirements, and answer your questions.
