Scott Zeitlin, MD

Dr Scott Zeitlin is the doctor to see for your surgical and medical needs when it comes to male infertility and chronic prostatitis. He is recognized by both the Urologists and Gynecologists as an expert in the field of male infertility and is an assistant clinical professor in both the departments of Urology and OB/GYN at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is a scientific reviewer for a number of medical journals including Fertility and Sterility, Journal of Urology, Andrology and Human Reproduction. Dr. Zeitlin was the UCLA Clinical Faculty Member of the Year in 2000 and was awarded the Master Teacher in Urology Award from the SUNY-Downstate Alumni association in 2004. He is the director of continuing medical education for the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society (www.pcrsonline.org). He is an NIH funded investigator for chronic prostatitis at UCLA and has been involved with the Chronic Prostatitis Collaborative Research Network since 1999. He has authored and co-authored a number of publications about chronic prostatitis and male infertility. He is an accomplished microsurgeon and has expertise in using transrectal ultrasound to diagnose obstructions within the reproductive. In addition he is only one of a few physicians that performs the electroejaculation procedure.
